With more and more people choosing to entertain and dine at home, co-ordinating your living and cooking area is becoming increasingly popular. A kitchen island is a great addition to any home if space is permitting. They can be invaluable in terms of cooking , giving lots of extra storage for cutlery and linens ,as well as providing a fabulous prepping area to boot!
I am totally in love with the above kitchen! The dual islands,the wall colour and high beamed ceilings are just perfect! A great space for entertaining:) I am still trying to convince my OH that an island would not be another dumping ground for toys and books and general knick knacks that are presently lurking in other areas of our home!

we moved into our house 2 years ago, the only thing missing is a huge island. the way our kitchen is set up it would be a huge renovation to make it happen:(
