Today I am sharing a very quick and easy pasta based dish. Even though I am heading away for the weekend my kids at home will still have to be fed ,so I love dishes you can prepare and leave covered in the fridge ready to bake. This is one of our favourites and so versatile and simple to make...
Ingredients.
1lb sausages
2 cups of pasta shapes
1 jar pasta sauce
1 cup water
some grated mozarella cheese for topping.
1 pkt of chorizo
Begin by boiling pasta shapes in water for 10 mins to soften. Fry the sausages on a pan until browned. Herby flavoured are great if you can get them! In a greased ovenproof dish layer the sausages and pasta . Pour over the water and sauce. Layer the chorizo on top and sprinkle with the grated cheese. To bake just pop in a 180c oven for 30 mins till piping hot.
This is a great standby dish as it can be cooked, cooled and covered in the fridge until it is ready to be used . I have this one cooked and will be leaving another covered and ready until needed. I am sure my lot will still be on the phone ordering pizza and chinese take out the minute I go out the door!!
As I have an early start tomorrow I wish you all a fabulous weekend. Look forward to catching up with everyone next week!:)
