Hello!
Hope you all had a great week. I thought after having a bank holiday on Monday it would fly but it actually dragged in parts for me ... totally blaming the rain and cold as you do! I really haven't much on this weekend so this post is going to be a little bit random!
First up I have totally lost the run of myself and purchased these floral pants in Penneys/Primark! Now I'm not even sure what they look like on (still waiting to see!) but they caught my eye and I think with a little bit of the right accessorising they could be quite nice for a Summers evening out for drinks /dinner. Some inspiration below as to how I might go about styling them ...
And for random item two I 'm going to make a nice memo board for my kitchen as I have such a fog brain at the moment and totally forgot to do 2 highly important things this week!! I stumbled across some lovely diy posts online and pinterest but one design really caught my eye ... so hopefully this piece of canvas art I don't need
will magically turn into one of these over the weekend:)
A very simple but effective idea all the same!
Have a beautiful weekend :)
Anne xx

Oooh - can't wait to see the pinboards when you finish. The ones in the picture look lovely. The trousers - I've tried so many on but I can't find a pair to suit me and I've given up on the palazzo style ones now. I look like I have no legs and a huge bottom when I try these on. The print is lovely though. Have a good weekend too. Hope the weather picks up - it's been bucketing where I am.
ReplyDeletethanks sue! The floral trousers might never be seen again when I put them on:)
DeleteBeautiful!!! Today I saw some pants like that and I was saying to my mother (we went shopping together) that I must have them!! The fabric is so nice!!
ReplyDeleteI am sure the pants will fit you perfectly!!
Have a beautiful weekend, honey! xoxoxo
You too MM!!
DeleteI saw those trousers in Penney's yesterday....so I can't wait to see them on you. I just can't make my mind up on the patterned bottom half - still coming to terms with coloured jeans. I'll make it to patterns by next summer knowing my form! Have a great weekend Anne xx
ReplyDeleteThanks avril!
DeleteLove the trousers and I could do with one of those boards I am always forgetting things!
ReplyDeleteIt is gone beyond a joke how many things I have forgotten to do lately!
DeleteI think you will look fabulous in those pants!!
ReplyDeleteWe will see:)
DeleteLove the second outfit in the floral pants. I've been a little hesitant to pick up a pair myself but maybe when the weather clears up I'll try out some!!!

ReplyDeleteThose floral pants are fun!
Have a great weekend!
Thanks Beth!
DeleteI think the trousers would really suit you and look well with a plain colour top ie lilac. We all need to cheer ourselves up with this rotten wether at the moment.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking along the same lines...hope it nice tomorrow:)
DeleteEverything is inspiring. The second outfit is so pretty. I love those floral pants.

I will see when I style them...might not like them either!
ReplyDeleteLOVE those floral trousers xo
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend:)
DeleteI love the floral trousers on people, they are so relaxed looking and a good alternative to a maxi dress when you don't want to bare your legs. I can never find any long enough unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteyeah I think they would make a nice change from maxi skirts!
DeleteI love those floral trousers the top ones will look fantastic with a single colour top but I think I would prefer black. The pinboard will be useful I have made a couple for ourselves out of corks cut in half. Take care and have a good weekend Diane
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane...have now tried them on and they are sweeping the ground! Need to alter and will actually be nice:)
Deletelove your bright pretty pants!!
ReplyDeleteyour memo board is nicer than my memo board.
Thanks! Enjoy your weekend:)
DeleteThank you for the comment on my blog, yours is beautiful, I think that I have read most of your posts back to the beginning, the mix of subject matter is great. I can't believe that you are old enough to have grown up children! I love Dublin, I visited just over a year ago and it was brilliant. I have little memory of the details as it was a girlie trip and we were pretty sloshed for the most part. We went to a great restaurant (can't remember the name!) where we ate glam burgers (mini burgers with different dressings) and drank buckets of champagne and we ended up in a club that was like something from Marbella; on lots of levels both inside and outside. We blagged our way into the VIP bit and hung out with the Irish rugby team, it was like being 18 again (which is a distant memory)!
ReplyDeleteI also blog at Luxelocal http://luxelocal.blogspot.co.uk/ for more personal stuff. The bootcamp blog is to keep me on the straight and narrow as I have lost loads of weight and am only ever an M & S shop away from gaining the 5 stone that I lost...
Delighted you enjoyed Dublin! Great site you have:)
Deletegreat pants honey, i love themmmmmmm!!

Thanks...you too!
Deletelove the pin boards; however, I don't think I am skinny enough to wear those flower pants. They might age me by 20 years and make me look like a grandma!
ReplyDeleteI have a pin board in progress!

ReplyDeleteHope your weekend is going great!
