Today had a distinct Autumnal air about it and for the first time in a couple of weeks I felt that heavier layers were called for! Up to now a t- shirt with light cardi would suffice, unless of course on certain days due to torrential downpours, a long mac and large brolly were also called for!
The styling shown above is actually a favourite look of mine, a simple jumper worn over jeans ... perhaps adding a scarf to finish and you're good to go! Here's a little round up of a few of my favourite jumpers on offer at the moment...
My personal favourite here is the Rag & bone jumper! It would look fabulous with dark skinny jeans and beige suede ankle booties for a casual day look :)

It is interesting hearing what others call things in different places. Love the ones you have chosen!!
ReplyDeleteI completely forget I am talking to a wider audience at times Lauren!!
DeleteHi Anne,
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is the Rag & Bone jumper too,
it is lovely.
Hope all is well and that your taxi to son's job
is now over (or nearly over) and that your youngest is
better or at least not sniffling as much.
I need to start wearing jumpers
as I am so so cold today
= central heating on tonight and am tempted
to switch on electric blanket!!!

It certainly has got colder very suddenly. I'm eyeing the wood-burning stove in our living room and wondering is it too soon to start lighting it! Lovely jumpers ... hurrah! A reason to go shopping :)
ReplyDeleteIt has cooled down here as well. I have no idea what a rag and bone sweater is but I like number 2. Keep well Diane
ReplyDeleteLoving the day birger jumper. It is funny we say jumper they say sweater it's a funny old world.
ReplyDeleteI love how you call a sweater a jumper... over here a jumper is what my daughter wears to school as her uniform. Either way I love the Jcrew jumper!!
ReplyDeleteI love the Rag and Bone and the Topshop ones! We aren't quite there for sweater weather yet but it should be ready in a few weeks or so....I hope!
ReplyDeleteAwwww....sweater weather! Love the pictures you posted. They're all so cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm anxious for some cooler weather here in Vegas, but it's still in the 90's.
Have a great rest of the week!

I love the look sweater*scarf/foulard* pants, though I prefer to wear longer models to cover any choppiness (did I make up this word!?). My favourites of your selection are n. 2 and 5. Keep rocking :-))
