Two nights out ....



 Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. This one was something of a rarity for me as I ended up going out two nights in a row ....  braving high wind and torrential rain the only thing bothering me was the thoughts of my black suede boots getting ruined! So here is the first outfit for Friday night drinks and a meal with my friends




And as hubs was off work this weekend we decided to go out for a meal last night to our favourite local restaurant! Of course the rain and wind made a second appearance but we're well used to that by now! The  black suede boots came out again but thankfully I got a lift both nights! They're actually not made for walking  too far anyhow!!




I also discovered a new found love for Bulmers cider and fish .... well not actually together, I had a couple of bottles of cider in the pub beforehand and some lovely white wine with the meals! I ordered haddock the first night amd seabass on the second and both were amazing!





 Not sure if the family will share in my enthusiasm but I'm making it part of my new year plan to cook more fish dishes!

  1. Good for you for braving the weather .. and going out anyway! Your boots (the whole outfit) are very pretty. I just purchased a suede ankle boot and wear it all the time. Your meal looks delicious and the cider sounds good:)

    1. I know ... went for a spin to Wicklow earlier,was dry and sunny when we left the house and snowing when we got over there! Mad weather.

  3. I love those boots but I am sure that I would break my neck if I tried to walk in them. I used to have many very high heels they have now all gone by the wayside! My green suede boots have about a 1 inch heel which is about all I can cope with nowadays but I will not wear them when it is wet :-( Keep well Diane

  4. Looking great Anne - lucky you getting out two nights…can't remember when I last did that! I'm a big fan of cider in a big glass with loads of ice…for some weird reason, Bulmers is called Magners up North - always wondered about that! Enjoy your week Anne, Avril x

  10. Hi Anne, Loving these outfits. I know what you mean about braving the rain. Sometimes you just don't feel like getting out, but I'm always glad later when I do..We've had a lot of rain here too and I'm trying to keep my black suede boots from ruin !

  20. Hi Anne, you looking amazing as alway's hope you had a great weekend and the fish dish look's yummy... i was wondering did you get a chance to wear you leather trousers over christmas? I purchased a pair from topshop in the jan sales havent wore them yet but will test them out this weekend.

  26. Love both outfits Anne, especially the leather jacket and the satin top in the second pick. If you like cider you should try Stella Cider, delis and the English Bulmers, it has a yellow label...actually I don't think you can get it in Ireland

  35. Your heels are killer! You looked lovely for your nights out. We eat shrimp once a week or so at home, but I really should prepare more fish too. A good reminder for next week's shopping list. :)
