Morning ... Monday has rolled around so quickly again! I had a very productive weekend though so I didn't feel too bad at getting up for the alarm call this morning:)
Off I went shopping again yesterday to Dundrum very determined to come home with one dress at least. I headed straight to Cos in BT2 whilst fresh and tried on the red dress I had spotted previously. It felt and looked gorgeous on and I think it will work with what I have in mind for the confirmation. It also got the thumbs up from my two very trustworthy style advisors :)
In between shopping we went for a spot of lunch in Jamies Italian. Above are some of the gorgeous dishes we had. All I can say is it was a good job I had tried the dress on first, as I felt stuffed to the gills comimg out of the restaurant!
This is a clearer shot of the dress which shows a better indication of colour. It is also made of 100% silk so it hangs very well. I have a few ideas in mind for styling but it actually looked fine worn loose with the ankle boots I had on yesterday :) I think it will be something I can wear over and over again and not just for an occasion.
This is a very quick snap of what I wore shopping as I hadn't time to stop and take actual pictures! I wore a few brighter colours myself as it was a lovely sunny Sunday!
Hope you all have a good week:) I have cleared two bags of clothes from my wardrobe and Laura also added to the pile! I may or may not have dipped back into hers when she wasn't about:)

That dress is a gorgeous colour. I look forward to seeing it on you. Was Jamies packed when you were there? I don't think I've ever seen that restaurant have a quiet hour or two!
ReplyDeleteI think we were the second family in the door yesterday Helen as I was afraid it would be booked out later on.... filled up very quickly after that!
DeleteNice to see some colour, I always get bored with black and grey at this time of year! I still adore that Cos dress and you look as cute as a button! The food looks yummy, I am a huge spaghetti lover as my "carb face" can confirm!
ReplyDeleteI also cleared two bags of old clothes to have space for new spring fashion!!!

ReplyDeleteLove your outfit Anne, the colours look so fresh and zingy. Totally get why you chose the red frock, it's gorgeous and will look perfect with your colouring.
ReplyDeleteThe Jamie's Italian fare looks yummy, there is one in Oxford that I have been warned off going to as reviews were generally mediocre and expensive, but I might just try it now!
ReplyDeleteOh Anne,
ReplyDeleteI need to go clothes shopping too!! I love the color red, it's so striking. Your lunch looks very yummy. I'm glad you had a nice time out shopping - it's good to treat ourselves once in awhile. Have a wonderful week.
